On June 11, MOL Mauritius International Fund for Natural Environment Recovery and Sustainability (“the Fund”) held an online meeting to report the outcome of the projects implemented in the Republic of Mauritius. At the beginning of the meeting, the chairperson, Mariko Kawaguchi, spoke about her firsthand experience of seeing the passion with which each organization tackled social issues during her previous project inspection in Mauritius. She expressed her anticipation for the reports of the day.
During the meeting, progress reports were made by 4 out of 15 project groups for the year 2023, and a final report was made by one group (Gender Links Mauritius) whose activity period had ended that year. In the Q&A session, we received various questions from participants around the world, including inquiries about how projects were carried out considering regional characteristics and cultural influences. This led to an active exchange of opinions.
Video recordings of the online meeting and presentation materials from each organization are available at the URLs below. FY2023 activity reports from those organizations not presenting on the day of the meeting will be available on each organization’s detail page.
